An exercise is liquid recursion, this IPA is brewed in the style of a US IPA but with all UK ingredients. In 2010 Head Brewer, Paul Spraget, was enticed into the world of craft beer by US IPAs such as Goose Island IPA, Sierra Nevada Torpedo, and Bear Republic Racer 5, and this beer is a tribute to those seminal beers but with a twist. Brook House Hops in Herefordshire grow classic US hop varieties such as Cascade and Chinook in UK soil, and these hops bring the classic US IPA aromas of dank pine and bright citrus to Orbit IPA, all built upon a solid foundation of Thomas Fawcett’s finest UK-grown malted barley. Malt and hops jockey in equilibrium for a soft, fruity, and pleasingly bitter IPA that is endlessly drinkable at every juncture.
