The latest from the Abbeydale's Funk Dungeon project is an interpretation of a Bretted Lager. After primary fermentation with classic lager yeast, Abbeydale pitched a blend of Brettanomyces and the house sour pitch. Lagered in a combination of ex-wine and neutral American Oak casks for 14 months, to provide a well balances beer with crisp bitterness, backed up by refreshing acidity.
