Dark Tides is a Vegan Chocolate Stout made with 100% fair trade, single origin liquid cacao from coastal Esmeraldas, Ecuador. Lost Pier have doubled up on the chocolate flavour by adding 10% chocolate malt to the beer, this gives a deeper roasty luxury flavour. To avoid using lactose, barley and oats is used to give a fuller flavour to the beer, then a touch of vanilla was blended in to give the impression of sweetness. It's time to lap up the waves of chocolate!
